WTF R U talking about?!?!?!?
If you'll be racing 8K and 10K next season, and you are already running 60-75 minutes a day in your normal training, then I'd say you'd be in excellent shape for the upcoming season.
If you're in HS, then I'd say it is probably too much volume for 5K racing the fall.
I think it lends itself to some personal tailoring if the volume is way more than you're used too.
For example, in the 1st phase your week looks something like:
Day 1: ~14% of weekly mileage
Day 2: ~14% of weekly mileage
Day 3: ~13% of weekly mileage
Day 4: ~13% of weekly mileage
Day 5: ~11% of weekly mileage
Day 6: ~11% of weekly mileage
Day 7: ~22% of weekly mileage
So I'd base it around your long run. Daniels' Gold Plan has a 120min LR, but if your long run is more like 100 min, then you're other workouts should stay consistent with that.
So your 60 min easy run the day before the LR would be more like a 50 min easy run, your tempo would be 16-17 min, rather than 20.
I've never tried that particular plan, but I seen great results with his race-specific plans

Just run a lot and do whatever you feel like as long as you are doing good volume!
