I've had a problem since mid October that comes and goes, but I'd really like to shake.
Basically what happens is my right butt cheek gets really tight, and when I do strides (pretty much 800m pace and faster) I can't extend my right leg out as far as my left and it has ruined my ability to sprint. As time goes by it will intensify then recede (at one point I thought I had it entirely beat, I was able to do strides full speed again for about a week then it came back way worse)
Anyone have any experience with this? Nothing seems to help, no stretches I know, heat and cold therapy both seem to do little to nothing to soothe it. I really would like to be able to sprint again.
