What's a 4:10 1500m convert to for a mile?
It's about a 4:30 but I think the guys still would have caught her in the kick. Maybe if she had Pixler really pushing the pace, but it's harder to lead than it is to follow, so the guys definitely had an advantage.
So did she win the 1500? Still haven't posted results...

you're an idiot. of course they had an advantage. guys had a huge pack of people to push the pace. the women's field wasn't very talented overall, and barbara parker had to do all the work herself.
So you're saying you'd rather run in a pack than have a 30 second head start? I'd prefer the head start, thank you very much.
