The women's 10000m and the commentators spend 2 plus laps talking about a ribbon in one of the runners hair who they can't positively indentify and who occupies 3rd/4th place. Are you serious they don't have stopwatches to give out spilts, what is this a Chuck E Cheese backyard meet or Mt Sac? Come on Flotrack get a grip buy some stopwatches and give out spilts the fans care less about the ribbons in the competitors hair and ALOT more about the spilts and times of the leaders of each event!
How about you get out a watch and take the splits, that way you can see them anytime you want. They are doing a service to you even presenting the meet so you can sit there and eat doritos while you watch it. If your not going to go out and do a better job, then stop complaining about what they are doing.

It's call professional expectations and it is something FloTrack lacks in a big way. We complain all the time about how bad some of the announcers are that do the big-time professional meets, well can't we hold FloTrack to the same standard? They are trying to become the biggest, baddest website out there in our sport, so we should hold them to some kind of professional standard. FloTrack has a long way to go before they are even remotely good at announcing, which means Marky Mark needs to hire someone other than Kevin and Ryan.
i really don't care for these meaningless domestic races, who really wants to watch mediocre white guys "chase their dreams".
Have a cup of shut the **** up. If their announcing is bad then that's what it is regardless if its free or pay per view. It doesn't take much to call out some spilts and not talk about super regionals for 2 minutes in the middle of a 10000m race. So you think everyone except Flotrack is open to criticism, then you are saddenly mistaken just like Flotrack commentators. If it was good then they would get praises but its so far from decent its horrible- they should be able to do better!

A great job? Are you kidding? They don't have a clue who most of the runners are, lose interest part of the way into the race, and seem surprised the end of the race is coming up. It's like listening to a couple of drunk frat boys comment on a beach touch football game. They obviously don't do any preparation before a race, sometimes don't even know what race is coming up next. Are your expectations for T&F broadcasts so low you're willing to except this crap? It may actually do some good for flocast to hear how many viewers think they commentating isn't very good. There is nothing wrong with saying so as its a matter of personal view. Being that more than just one person is saying the same thing about the coverage must hold some validity.
You honestly think they care what you think about their commentating? If you really believe that then you have no clue what you are talking about, whatsoever. For everyone who HATES it there are 10-15 that love it, or just mute it and watch without noise, and btw, if Flotrack commentators were paid like those on national networks maybe it would be better. These are people who get paid nothing, who work full time during the week, go to school, etc. Use your brain and realize that nothing is what it seems

So because they don't get paid means they should be terrible? If they watched any meets in their lifetime with distance events they should have a clue about how to come close to decent coverage. World Indoors, Pre, New York Gp, World Outdoors, Olympics, NCAA Indoors, NCAA Outdoors, Millrose, USA Indoor Championships, USA Outdoors Championships take your pick it gives some insight about how to provide at least decent coverage with spilts etc. So they haven't seen any of those EVER to get an idea of how to call a meet or close to it?
Noone asking them to be excellent among all commentators just decent which is something they really weren't at least not the first day of 2010 Mt. Sac.
