300m's all in 45 secs

If you're a 400/800 type, probably 4:00.
If you're a 1500/5000 type, probably 3:57.
I can do that workout and I just ran 4:11, so 4:11.

I'll go with this guys time
That session is a reasonable 800m predictor and suggests you can run 2:00.
You might have great speed and lactate tolerance but lousy aerobic conditioning, and run 4:10. Or you might have great endurance and less speed and run 3:56.
If you can't find a 1500 next week, do a proper 1500-type session: 3-4k of reps, recoveries no longer than the reps. Examples:
2 x (5x400,60sec), 5min between sets
2 x (400 (1 min rec) - 800 (2min rec) - 300)
6 x 500, 90sec
Then ask us ;-)
How'd you feel? Was it relaxed or were you struggling for the last reps?
If it was pretty smooth/relaxed I'd say 3:55ish if you were gutting it out at the end I'd say 4:05-10
thanks all. the last couple in the last set felt hard- ubt i nejoyed it throughout so i could possibly go quicker??
