Come on now, dude- March has nothing to do with it. She's coming off of her indoors peak- she should be in great racing shape.
That aside, a very impressive run. That's borderline US Olympic team type of race. Congrats to her!
Only a 10:16 girl in HS for 3k. Had a full redshirt year and quite the progress over the years since.

That would have put her at 13th worldwide last year. Top 30 in your event for the year puts you into the IAAF's top bracket with all added perks. Congratulations. Hope it wasn't a lap short.
what is the A standard?

Then why are so many other Stanford times unimpressive and why are the 10k times at this meet always so much slower than a month later at Payton Jordan?

In general it's The pace of the rabit, and the people in the race in teh P. Jordan meet that cause the faster times....are you that stupid?

Why are you guys looking at runnerspace? Flotrack has the race.
My fault. It's not the whole race. I guess both sites suck.

What perks, exactly, are you referring to? (I'm not challenging your statement, just curious to learn more.)
Splits of 15:50/15:28
Her last 5000 basically ties the 14th best ever collegiate for that distance- by Kara Goucher.
