I've heard applying Pam to the bottom of your shoes helps prevent mud from sticking. Does this work? Has anyone here tried it?

No, that's retarded.
p.s. mud on your shoes is AWESOME.
If Arnold had put Pam on his face before descending into the jungle basin mud, then the Predator would surely have won and none of us would be here today to talk about such modern pussification.
Don't do that. It's like stepping on a banana peel on every stride. VERY dangerous.
Yes, it works to some extent. Well, at least it works on cycling shoes as used in cyclocross racing (a sport in which crazy people ride bikes that are basically road bikes, but with narrow knobby tires: one must dismount and run over obstacles while carrying the bike and shoes get really muddy and then it's hard to get them to click back into the pedals, thus the use of pam spray to keep mud from sticking).

You can always run through a creek to wash them off.
