For a few months now i've been looking to buy Asics shoes that are marketed in Japan. I've always been a fairly minimalist runner (i.e, my current training shoe is the Saucony A3), but i'd like to mix it up with the foreign models; see how they feel etc. I feel that i'm a fairly efficient runner (34:10/1:14:45/2:34:58), so i won't have to worry about destroying my legs, but i'm clueless as to how to acquire them....
any ideas?
asics sells the tarther 7.2oz in the US for $75
10 mm drop from heel to forefoot. High-heel shoes. I just don't get it. Why can't / won't any of the American shoe companies make a simple, flat shoe?

Go there or if you know someone going to Japan ask them to pick you up a pair. That is the simple answer.
Having gone to the Asics store in Harijuku I can tell you there are so many models you have not seen even focusing on what you can find here doesn't do japanese only models justice.

The Rakuten online store also appears to ship overseas. They have tonnes of racing flats and the site can be viewed in English.
