Wow!!! Great time... Oregon could have a crazy 4x1500 team...
-
Is that the little short girl with the real long hair?
-
No but she'll have Zoe Buckman to train with.
-
AKA Zoe Nelson?
-
Hasay smokes her in practice after practice, what kind of time is she going to lay down? Good gawd.
-
Buckman, Hasay, Blood, Kosinski, Kesselring, etc. etc. etc.

How creepy that Zoe Buckman is engaged to 43 year old actor
David Schwimmer.

Well lets see now, Oregon's 1500 womens lineup now looks like this.
Zoe Buckman - 4:12
Nicole Blood - 4:14, 4:38 mile
Jordan Hasay - 4:14, 4:35 mile
Alex Kosinski - 4:18, 4:39 mile
Anne Kesselring - 4:19, 4:37 mile
I'm sure they certainly do push each other in practice, and will be interesting how the races turn out this season. Anyone know why Alex Kosinski didnt compete today? She skipped indoors, so figured she would be healthy again. -
Zoe Buckman with almost a 3 second PR!

Real shot at this...
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- For the second time in the past two months, the Lady Vol track & field team is sitting on top of the world. The women’s 4x1500-meter relay team snared Tennessee’s second baton event title in as many days at Franklin Field and did so in world-record-setting fashion Friday afternoon in front of a crowd of 39,501 at the 115th Penn Relays.
On March 13, UT’s distance medley relay unit smashed the world record en route to an NCAA Indoor Championship in that event. On Friday, the Lady Vol 4x1500m contingent used a blistering time of 17 minutes, 8.34 seconds to unseat Australia’s previous 2000 world best of 17:09.75. -
Don't they all have to be from the same country to get a relay WR? Buckman is Australian and Kesselring is German. So they'd have to come up with someone else to go with Hasay, Blood and Kosinski.

Zoe Buckman is not the same as Zoe Nelson, as Nelson graduated last year. Buckman is an Aussie, who has a 2:20 800 time to her credit. She is considering moving up to the 1500 after this effort shows that might become a better race for her in the future. Kesselring, in my opinion, has as much or more 1500 potential than Buckman, and we will probably get to see her run that distance at Stanford next weekend. Kosinski had a flareup in her achilles a few months ago, but is ok now, just not in race shape yet. With so much mid-distance depth at Oregon (let's not leave out fast improving freshmen Becca Friday and Chloe Steinbeck) I suspect this may be a redshirt season for Kosinski.

Buckman has a little better 800 than 2:20

Look at how fast Sally K can run when she isn't in nursing school.. She is gonna be scary as crap this year
-
Excuse the mistake: Zoe Buckman has run a 2:02 (not 2:20).

Seriously. Kipyego is amazing for being able to handle such a tough academic and athletic load.
