I tried converting 9.5 stone to pounds, but evidently there are two standards of stone, one of which was marked UK. Is that, by chance, where you live?
BTW, he weighs either 118.75 or 133 pounds, depending on the standard.
wtf is a stone? I've never heard of that before.
wow
The conversion I found puts him at 133 lbs. I can't imagine he'd be asking if 118 lbs at 5'9" is average.
Yeah, I think 5'9" and 133 sound like a good average. Personaly I'm 6'3" and 155 (when in shape). Considerably taller and heavier than most competitive runners.
5-9.5 @ 133lbs
I am 6'3'' and 139 with a 5K Pr of 15:50...junior in HS.
6-0. 150. PR of 9:35 in HS.
6-0, 150 in HS, PR 9:28
6-1, 160 now in college, PR 9:08
Yeah I live in the UK, 9 1/2 st is roughly 60kg if that helps any? what factor should age play? The younger the lighter?
5'9", 143-5(it varies from day to day) I have a little more muscle on me than your average runner, although I'm still skinny as hell.
runninballr23
gain some weight that is to light for someone who is 6'3".
6'2" 155lbs
Whatever. I'm 6 feet 2 inches and weigh 117 lbs. And I am perfectly healthy.
Henry Rono! 5'8'' 140!
Weight is just a number, loose a great deal of it. And see how long your running healthy. Be like a horse, train hard eat what you feel you need. And you body will find the right number.
I am huge compared to all of you. I stand 6'2" and weigh 175lbs. Usually when I line up for race I am far the biggest on guy on the front line. I am pretty sure it limits my ability some.
When I was back in HS, I actually had an official ask me if I knew I was about to start the 3200 race and not the 400. Funny thing was I then finish like 3rd.
Speaking of training and eating like a horse, Ryan Shay is about 5'10 and 160. That guy is huge for a marathoner.
One stone is equal to like.. one...
No you aren't.
There is no way you could run or live at 117 and 6'2".
Healthy for a Dried Cadaver
