This was on the front page of Letsrun. For the uninformed, Francena my have been a nobody. For those of us who follow events below 800m, she is the H.S. Record Holder at 400m indoor, she was the U.S. Indoor Recordholder at 300m until Sholanda Soloman broke it last year, and she won the NCAA 400m title last year. Nobody? Really?
I agree, she was not a nobody. She is one of the fastest HS 400 runners ever. Her high school indoor time of 51.93 would have placed third at the meet.

Not to mention it was run on a flat track with no competition! She def would have gone a good amount faster if she had run nats at the armory that year instead of in Maryland. Probably low 51, such a lost opportunity that was.
She also holds the HS 300 record as well with 36.96, unless it's been broken since.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised when she was called a "nobody" on the front page. I'm sure Brojos are reading this and kicking themselves (or each other) for messing that one up.
