Not enough kick in the last 50 meteres.

Entirely wrong, hes in pretty easily by a couple seconds
rupp is in. they are taking the 4 fastest of the non top 4.
No he is scrapped through as the 2nd last fastest qualifier.
He just got in by time.
He got lucky, he should have been in the first heat. Members of the same country are suppose to be in different first round heats.
He is in by 2.7 sec. Nevertheless, he was outkicked by the Spanish guy what I was really surprised of. Final going to be tough for him but most importantly he made it through the prelims. By the way, Lagar looked incredibly smooth running a 2:26 last km.

Who is Ally, why did she turn to prostitution, and what does she know?
Some one whore. Ally knows.
Rupp looked good. It was nice to see him a bit aggressive and try and push Bekele. Rupp can sprint. Not like the Kenyans and Ethiopians but he was moving.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I mean they had one Spaniard, one Kenyan, one Ethiopian and one Quatari in each heat respectively but put the two US runners in the same heat. Would be interesting to know on what basis they allocate runners to the heats in general.
You guys don't understand.
The title of the thread is "Rupp's out."
Since he qualified on time it must mean something else.
People just don't create false headlines.

Evidently you've become an ex human being as well.
Rupp happens to have a fiance.
Man, Rupp would be primed to run world cross, but he's not going to is he? I can't remember if he ran the US trial or could get a qualifier via world indoor.
Well, since this thread is supposed to be about negativity...perhaps the title could mean he's clearly out of medal contention? But we already knew that before today.
Good for Rupp to make the final of a World Championship 3K. A little over a year ago he had no speed, right?

He'd have to run out of his mind to factor in the final, but we knew that going in. In the second heat all anyone had to do to advance was to place in the top 6 and go under 8:05, so we really don't know much more about any of them except that they did what was necessary to advance.

All it takes to qualify is to run faster than the other runners, not to push people around - especially not Bekele.
First, the previous poster meant "push" in the metaphysical sense, as in, he pushed the pace so it pushed Bekele to run faster. He didn't physically push anyone.
Second, you know it's Tariku Bekele we're talking about here, right? Not big bro.
OK Get Smarter, let me explain this to you.
The OP is an idiot. Starting a thread without knowing the facts.
I did a little play on words to insinuate a different meaning to give support to the OP as a ... get this...joke.
The joke works with any name but it is funnier with Rupp because he seems to get the Tom Cruise treatment around here.
Now I could mention that Elton John had a wife but I won't.
Let me explain that previous line as it was a joke too. You see I DID mention it and can't go back and say I won't mention it. More funny to just me.
I would say lighten up but disgruntled responses like yours just keep adding laughs to the situation.
I don't think he meant "push" as in "shove."

Correct. He got up in the front and pushed the pace. He looked good.
