how early in their rehab can a person be if they're running 3-4 miles a day? I mean really, I usually picture being "injured" as not being able to run.
And I usually picture rahab as doing a light amount of training, slowly being built up.
Or maybe not being able to run fast without serious risk of another injury..
“He looks fit,” Klein said. “He had a positive attitude. He’s looking forward to getting back into the mix. But he’ll have to hit a few fitness benchmarks before he starts racing.”
A FEW Fitness marks?
Yeah, like maybe up to 7-10 miles a day for starters, I though he was much further along than this after all this time, didn;t everyone?
What injury does/did he have?
it says he recently underwent achilles surgery in the article.
lol
I said before I'll say it again
WEBB IS BACK BABY!
If he's only running 3-4 miles per day then you time trial report was completely bogus.

Yeah, back to getting his ass handed to him. The kid is finished.

That's what I was thinking.
If he is rehabbing now and ran a 3:45 TT last month that would mean he reinjured himself. Then throw in the report of achilles surgury that popped up.
It's not adding up. But it is just message board reporting.

I usually picture Rahab as something in India.
Webb is done. We need another mile prodigy in order to discuss fake time trials, house sales, eating habits, countless injuries and choking at big meets. Mac Fleet, anyone?
Nice! sounds like he has a great shot at a sub 4:30 mile this summer!
His career is something like Benjamin Button; start out doing great and regress back to really good high school times and whatnot.
Soon Webb is going to morph into a fetus.

You're wrong, go back to the thread, you will, see that, I said he was taking it easy. Its possible to run a 3:45 off of 3 to 4 a day, especially, when you're, Alan Webb

Theres no way he would run a time trial nearing an Achilles surgery. Hes doing the right thing by being patient now and recovering.
What surgery would he have for tendonitis in the Achilles? I know they can repair tears but what would you do for Achilles tendonitis. Would it help to go in there and "clear out" scar tissue or some kind of buildup? Does anyone have any similar experince with this type of surgery?
