This is all actually pretty good advice, and I thought that even before I saw your shout out to me.

I have noticed that the board has seemed to be filled with some Nancy boys recently...not sure why that is.

Anyway, good show there brother.

That is pure horseshit. You make the kid pay you back, that's it. Felony charges? Trespassing? Uptight parent and our great legal system which throws everything that can stick at someone and just prays they don't get a good lawyer who can knock it down to what he should have been charged with in the first place. i've never seen/read any of flagpole's female advice so i won't comment on it's efficacy.

however, through experience and observation i've found out that my best results come when acting the part of the alpha male. the dominating personality in the room. then, once i score some one-on-one time with a lady, i relax a little, get slightly more humble, slightly more sensitive, and that's when the magic happens.

chicks dig confidence, so fake it til ya make it.

Not sure I agree with all of this; but #6 is a real good nuance for men to know. Women often want to kiss, to know if you are a good kisser, to try you on for size a little bit...and they may not want to have sex with you.

The good news for the guys is, ask a girl if she wants to kiss, more times than not they will say "yes," just don't assume that means they want to have sex.

Why would you say flagpole gives bad advice? I'd like to know some specific quotes you take offense with? Great thread too. I've wondered as well why so many posters are wearing their feeling on their sleeves when it comes to women. Women are awesome, my wife leading the way. By the way, I posted earlier about someone having to date the beautiful women, why not me. Been there, done that, don't be a Nancy boy you can do it too.

This is a thread started by Flagpole designed to pat himself on the back. There were several posts on this thread to that effect and they were mysteriously deleted. Yet Flagpole's posts remain. Gee, I wonder why.

The rest of the advice in the list actually isn't bad good but any fool who takes advice from that buffoon will fit right in here at LetsRun

Correct- never, under any circumstance, should you take relationship advice from girls, boys or men. The only relationship advice worth heeding is that which is offered up by women.

I think I do actually want to address this point. Women are even worse about giving advice than girls are, because their whole perspective is far more colored. They are far more ingrained in their beliefs, much more likely to rely on their own experiences than any rational conclusion based on their observations, and are likely exponentially more bitter after each failed relationship. Younger girls are inexperienced idealists, older women are experienced cynics when it comes to men. The most important qualities for a man trying to get a woman are confidence (not necessarily cockiness, but many women can't tell the difference), initiative (in the work, social, and athletic aspects of their lives), and status. Hot girls don't date hot guys, they date guys who date hot girls. A bit of a tautology, admittedly, but that's not the point. Older women want a man who is easier to control because they've likely been burned by a lack of control in the past. They're still attracted to it, but are more likely to advise against it.

Boys vs. men is a simpler issue, younger guys almost by definition don't understand women, unless on an intuitive level that they think they understand, but really don't.

If I had to rank order based on gender and age who gives the best advice, from best to worst, it would be...

Older Men

Younger Women

Older Women

Younger Men
