Guessing he started smoking at 17 (conservative guess). That would mean he's been smoking for 50 years.
I would have to say he's averaged two packs a day. 20 cigarettes a pack. That's...40x356=14,600.
14,600x50= 730,000 cigarettes...and counting.
What do you think?

I would think its getting close to the time now where The Stones are going to start to die off. Like the Rat Pack starting with Sammy of lung cancer in his sixties.
Charlie Watts has already had lung cancer and Bill Wyman is in his 70's and was or still is a chain smoker.

I would think its close to a million as well. You have to think that the nights of heavy partying were perhaps 2 and half or 3 pack days.

One long continuous ciggarette..particularly when Mick Taylor was around, who he couldn't come close to accompanying.
i am thinking i heard he started at age 12 but that wont make much difference. what does matter is he almost never has 2 of his lit cigarettes in his mouth at the same time so half of those are not getting smoked.
In an one of those odd coincidences, a good friend of mine is one of his wife's oldest and best friends.

"Meaning" is a social construct. Whether or not something is meaningless depend on what one is trying to do.

Have you been to Europe? There is nothing to suggest he smokes any more than the typical European. Which is to say he may smoke too much. But there is nothing to see in this thread and everyone should move on.
