Recently Ive had periodic bouts of dizzines/lightheadedness that begin about 15-20 mins. into my runs. I feel as though I may faint and I feel "out of it." It doesnt happen often, but when it does I have to stop and walk and jog home. I also start sweating a lot and feel anxious.
It happened again today. I do drink too much coffee and wonder if that could be a factor. I also felt a little hungry, but had a banana and half an energy bar 20 mins. before I ran. I also had about 2-3 cups a couple of hrs. before I ran.
Im in pretty good shape, run 60 mpw and recently ran 1:15 in the half so Im not a newbie to the sport (been running 3 yrs. competitively). Im worried it will start happening more. Oh Im 33 male as well
Any possible explanations? Thanks
