Cam Levins from Southern Utah bustin the 4min barrier for the first time as well. Still has redshirt year and a senior year to go. Watch out for him.

Holy crap! Braun and Bauhs were close.
Oh I know, just good to see him doing well.
3000 video is up. Not a bad day for Rupp...
With Teg, Ritz, Rupp, and Solinsky, the Portland area could have four guys 12:55-13:10 this year (and Jaeger not far behind). Group training is taking Americans to the next level.
Rupp and his coach are "post college" now and doing exactly what they should be doing. This Schumacher/Salazar group is very exciting!!!
3:56 / 7:51
Where was that freshman walk-on?
What mattered to Rupp last year was the NCAAs in the spring. Not so much the World Championships. I agree that the 10K AR is poised to go down hard by either Rupp or Ritz.

Like when he dropped Ritz at the trials and then was 14 seconds back of Ritz at the actual championships. Grest job.
I expect a 13:22 for Rupp in Boston.
And even so he finished 8th at the World Championships, after being focused on NCAA victories since the previous fall. Don't forget, Ritz at the end of last summer was better than any American has ever been at the 5,000m, and possibly at the 10,000m as well.

I want to see that freshman walk-on run a mile. I bet he would've run 3:55. How did Rupp seriously lose to him? That's ridiculous.
A 1 sec. PR in the mile and a close win in a 3K the same day. Not bad at all. Why all the hatred for Mr. Rupp?
rupp also ran the 800, big day...
Presumably, the Big Guys are also doing this off of strength work; impressive.

It's not ridiculous if you're sick, which he was.

Difference is Millrose victory over Olympic 1500m champ, he was not going for time, like Rupp was.
That millrose race was not fair. Kiprop has never run indoors before in his life(no indoor tracks in Kenya even just for training). Ask any Kenyan or African how their first ever indoor race went. It is hard I tell you. LAgat knew this and capitalised on that. In fact Kiprop's 3:58 translates to 3:48 had he been training and running indoors(the American collegiate style) for just two years. This is in no way trashing of Lagat who I think proved last Friday to be a great running legend.
Anyone over 15 looks old to a high school kid.

Let's see Fernandez run 3:56 right now. Oh wait, he can't.
That sucks. Why are you bashing on an injured athlete? This is why the running community hates Oregon fans. No dignity at all.

I agree 100%, Oregon fans are dumb
