nike lunar elites: what is dynamic stability?

I think there is an internal bevel that is raised on the medial side of the Elite how this does not cancel out underpronators or somehow becomes "dynamic" I do not know. It does seem though that if you are using Peg+26 you should be good with the elite, based on the flex grooves and midsole not having a plastic medial device like the Lunar Glide. I have been in the Speedstar and Pulse and these Lunar series do look promising but I since they are new the feedback I have not read much with reviews.

If you're neutral/supinate, go Lunar Glide instead. The dynamic support won't affect you.

I disagree (at least partly). I am a neutral runner and I bought the Glides thinking they would be fine. I can manage two days in a row before I have to switch back to Pegasus 26 to avoid injury/pain from the Glides. I bought these without the assistance of my running store consultant, and when I did ask him, he said that he would not have recommended them. That said, I know some people who like them and they consider themselves neutral.

Regarding the new Elites, the dynamic support consists of two layers of foam/cushioning (for lack of the actual term) that have different stiffness. The foam layers are stacked so that when you are tired late in a long run, you get more cushioning /support. The layers are formed in offset "V"s when you look from the back of the shoe. It's an interesting concept, but I'm concerned about the lack of medial posting/flexibility.

Asrun- have you tried the elites? Im interested in them and you seem to know quite a bit about them. My peg 26 is a great shoe, I was looking for something a bit lighter for some tempos. I love my lunar racer, but i cant train in those everyday.

I haven't, but I may pick up a pair tomorrow if my store has them in stock. I'm hopeful they will be better than expected. I still miss the skylons circa 2002-2003.
