I really believe his injury prone body must be due to his diet. Almost like an allergic reaction of some sorts.
Example, I WAS a good runner until I started getting repeat injury after another. Mostly in the lower legs, muscles, tendons attached to muscle, you name it.
I found out after college I was allergic to Yeast, and milk. Large amounts of these two items wore my body down.
I soon cut back on these things by nearly 75% and my running has never been better. I feel stronger. I most certainly never had the talent as GF, but if I knew then what I know now, I could have been so much better.
