Does anyone NOT have facial hair nowadays?

I work in a chemical manufacturing plant so facial hair is prohibited. Otherwise I would grow some scruff.

I <3 facial hair. If you can grow it. Do it! The beard or the stash, its all good in my book. I find a guy so much more attractive if he has facial hair. I'm pretty sure I am alone in this.

I just shaved off my moustache after 25 years....Just got tired of it and also the fact it was mostly grey...I do keep a little stubble though...

Maybe when you're in your 20s scuff and stubble is cool, but when you get older you just look like an unkempt hobo.

Chest hair is also back in. Give it 5 years. Then everyone will be hairless seals again.

I'm 30 and have a hard time growing facial hair. So, I couldn't grow a beard/goatee if I wanted. On the upside, I only have to shave once per week, if that.

I wear a petit goatee. Mostly because if I don't people think I look like I'm 17 (I am 30). I keep the rest clean shaven though, I don't like the "I only shave every 3 days" scruff a lot of men wear.

It's the best style, most conducive to the daily grind of competitive distance runners doing the doubles and logging high miles , so much so they do not have time to shave. It sucks if you work in corporate because you can't do it though.

Some people look good with facial hair, but it's usually darker hair males in the 20s looking for added masculinity/toughness aspect.

Yeah i have a beard. Mostly to blame is my hate of shaving, my girlfriend loves it, and it helps in the cold weather.

I hate to shave. Whoever thought that scraping your face with a razor blade was a good idea anyway? Though my job requires me to shave, I rarely do on weekends and every now and then will go for about a week without shaving. I'm sporting some long winter stubble now as a matter of fact. It helps keep the face warm when running in 10 degree weather.

I work in a conservative law firm so a bear isn't really an option. Maybe once I make partner, but even then it will have to come after a long break. I cannot imagine having "stubble" here. We used to have an older gentleman who had a nicely trimmed beard, all white, but he has since retired.

Being a rugged runner at heart, I would love to grow a rough beard, just never shave, but that will either have to wait until I retire, quit or get disbarred. We'll see what happens first, LOL.

It is funny that you asked this question though, just this morning I was in the local coffee shop and noticed that I was the only male in the place without facial hair. There were other "suits" there, too.

What's the current sentiment on beards? Seems it hasn't fizzled out like one poster predicted. Are they tired? Why still seemingly rare in college running?

Plenty of COVID related beards, but I think those have been diminishing since the March/April period.
