Well, Shadrack Lagat has apparently fought at least one lion, so he much be pretty fearless.
Nate Jenkins is really tough and strong minded!
Hard as nailswhen it comes to running!
Geb.
Steve Jones, Geoff Smith, Gerry Lindgren, and Pre were all tough front runners.
Currently, I think Ryan Hall is a tough runner.
That is really hard to say without knowing them, one athlete sticks out to me, but he was an all-state runner from my high school career who I'm sure no one but me would know.

Have you not watched ryan hall the past 2 years??
I was in boston last week and i stepped in the sh*t left over from his boston run.

Ryan Hall...ahahahahaha.
Fearless is not synonymous with wise or good, although he is both. Every marathon he has run -- London, Trials, Boston -- he has pushed to the front, run agressively, mixed it up, etc.

If you're talking about utter confidence in his primary races, then yea, Bekele has to be as fearless as they come.
If you're talking about "fearless" as in goes out and just runs hard regardless of what could happen, then I suspect there are an awful lot of hobby runners (myself included) that would qualify.
If you want a current elite...how about Zersanay Tadesse? Only one that tried to burn Bekele out, and hammered off the front in the WC Half.

Or Patti SuePlumer. Ran through dog bites, pneumonia, etc. to compete at the World Championships.

New York?? You said every marathon.
I dont remember him pushing to the front?
Olympic Marathon?? You said every marathon
Ask ritz if he was up there pushing it in the front
You cant just pick one or two races where someone pushes hard, you have to look at every race
Sammy, that guy runs world record pace no matter what race he is in...
