I coach in the same school district as these coaches. They have a very successful method and passion for their athletes. But obviously questionable from how they reached their success.

what's questionable is kicking someone like that out of the country. our immigrant policies are idiotic. non violent people should have the right to live and work wherever they want on this planet.
-
if he was white they would have let him stay in the u.s. they only kick out darkies and brownies.
-
People like this man should be allowed to stay. He's obviously making a differance in the community and working with our kids and helping them be successful in life. It's people like this man that we need in this country. It's a shame that our immigration system is so messed up and good people who are an asset to our country like this guy are being kicked out. Sad, very sad.
-
I'm ok with him being deported. Mexico needs people like him more than we do. And now an unemployed American can get the job.
-
It's just proves that the United States of America is the most racist country in the history of mankind.
-
It really is a shame. These two coaches have built that program and provided a group of inner-city kids a way out. It will take less than a year for that program to go down the dumps.
-
It's true.

You're out of your damn mind.
I wish this coach would have immigrated legally. He sounds like a great guy, but you can't just go breaking the law like that and expect to be let go because you're good elsewhere.
I'm not saying our immigration laws are perfect- people like him should absolutely be allowed to come in. But it is the current law, like it or not. -

Wow you don't get out much do you? Have you ever been to Africa or anywhere in Europe? Ignorant people like you make me sick you talk trash on Americans just because you hear everyone else doing it. -
If he was working on getting a visa or was trying to become a legal citizen he absolutley belongs here.
-
I think "Historical Perspective" was lampooning the folks who can be so eager to actually say that. I could be wrong. As an Arizonan, I feel I should point out that since his arrest happened in Pinal County, it was not at the hands of the famous Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Just seems like an important distinction for whatever reason.

there are specific laws which this guy can use to attain legal resident status here in the US. People with specific skills and abilities can go to the Immigration Court and have their case reviewed, there are many illigals who do this and legitimately get residency and stay in the US.
-
Are you people all morons or just liberal idiots? He broke the law and should be deported. I am friggin sick of you people that think breaking the law is justified. Take a hike across the border will you and become a Mexican citizen.
-
I am a liberal moron, thank you.

"I wish this coach would have immigrated legally"
You don't think he would have if he could have?
The immigration quotas on Mexicans and South and Central Americans are kept way too low; the plan is to force poor workers who want to come here to be illegal so that the companies that employ them can abuse them without fear of the workers going to authorities -
America is certainly NOT the most racist country on the Earth. Take the time to examine the immigration policies of most countries in the world and you'll find out that we're pretty damn tolerant. See what happens if you try to trample on the sovereignty of countries like Japan or Germany or China.
Each country is responsible for its own citizens. What we need to start doing is to send the bills for emergency room visits, court costs, overcrowded schools, etc.., to the Mexican government. Why are the HUGE costs of illegal immigrants the responsibility of the US tax payer?
I am NOT a citizen of the world. I am a citizen of the United States of America. -
we should deport you, then, too if you've broken the law. This guy had been working here for a long time doing good for little money.

If he was white he wouldn't have bothered to come to this country. -
