What is the mile record for an 80 year old?

According to WMA (http://www.world-masters-athletics.org/records/outdoor-men) it is:
M 80 7:09.60 Joseph King USA 82 02.08.08 Eugene
As with most age-group records it is freaky fast.
While that is very good, the indoor mile mark for the age group is 6:48 and King himself ran 6:56 indoor (also at age 82).
are we talking about the american record?
im sure the wr for a 80 yr old is sub 5.
The 1500 record (5:54.5, Harold Chapson) is worth around
6:22
