Nearly every major sport utilizes instant replay or computer technology to aid officials. We've all seen touchdowns called back in the NFL and frequently that determines the rightful winner of the game. It should be no different in track and field. I suggest the first "event" we start with be racewalking. Nowhere is cheating more prevalent. They all cheat. If you don't believe me, take a look at still shots of the "races" and see for yourself. By placing cameras randomly throughout the course, officials could replay them after the "race" and determine if anyone was running when they were supposed to be walking. What do you think? Racewalkers, would you welcome this? If not, why not?
