where can I find a video of Rashid Ramzi running 3:29.14?

Call up BALCO. I'm sure they have one or know where to get a copy.

I think ramzi ran his first lap in 51 seconds in this race. Do you have the number for BALCO? I could not find it in the phone book.

I saw it up on youtube a WHILE ago. Blistering early pace.

No, the rabbit went through in 51, Ramzi went through in 52.4. I've got his stats for the race somewhere at home from when it was on Youtube if you want me to post them?

Sorry that I can't help with a copy of the race! It was on Youtube, but not anymore! They're always closing down accounts over copyrights and such.

Had a look on Google videos, but couldn't find it there either.

As I'm sure you know, he was narrowly beaten by Kipchirchir Komen in that Rome race in 2006. Both followed the hare who (if I remember correctly) went through 400m in 51 and bits, with Ramzi & Komen about 5m down. By 800m the hare was just in front of them and stayed there until about 1100m, at which point Ramzi was in front until Komen pulled level with him at 1400m point. Here are the splits:

Ramzi:- 400m~52.3, 700m~1:34.7, 800m~1:49.2, 1000m~2:18.0!, 1100m~2:32.1, 1200m~2:46.27, 1300m~ 3:00.4, 1400m~3:14.6, 1500m~3:29.14

52.3, 56.9, 57.1, 42.8 (57.0, 28.7, 14.5)

Kipchirchir Komen:- 400m~52.5, 700m~1:35.0, 800m~1:49.6, 1000m~2:18.5, 1100m~2:32.4, 1200m~2:46.5, 1300m~3:00.6, 1400m~3:14.6, 1500m~3:29.02

52.5, 57.1, 56.9, 42.5 (56.6, 28.4, 14.4)
