typical. that's the pattern we see from pussies like Sagarin and Flagpole, always making excuses and second guesses. when any real sportsman would just say, "great game, you guys deserved to win".
Umm...I challenge you to find a post where I've EVER made an excuse for a Buckeye loss. Not the way I roll brother. Sagarin does that, but not me.
Quite honestly I was surprised Ohio State played as well as they did following their super poor performance against Navy, and also quite honestly, neither OSU nor USC RIGHT NOW is very good. USC had better not think they are good after beating OSU, or they will get beaten again by some mid-pack Pac-10 team as in year's past. If though they can stay undefeated, they may just meet Florida for the national title.
Regarding THIS year, USC has more upside from what I can tell. Barkley showed his inexperience, but he also led two very good drives at the end of both halves, and that bodes well down the line. OSU has NO running game at all, and Pryor isn't living up to the hype as of yet. Pathetic running game. I expect 3 regular seasons losses and then a trip to the Outback Bowl (where they could very well lose) as their best possible outcome this year.
I'm disappointed the Buckeyes lost, though I wasn't expecting a victory, and props go to USC for coming to Columbus to win (no easy task). I'd give MAJOR props to USC if the Buckeyes were any good this year, but they aren't, so USC just gets regular old props.
