And Mark Carroll is now the coach at Auburn. It'll be interesting to see how his athletes respond, and if he'll recruit in a stable of the top Irish distance runners.

OSU (or okstate) will be a very good team this year. They have the recruits, and they have the talent. You have to be mentally defective to think they will not be in the top 10.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about Auburn being 2nd. I thought it was a controversial move on my place. Enough about my rankings, what about everyone else's rankings (especially the critics).

I'm looking at the roster, and German and Colby are listed as Sophomores, so it's up to date, but Ryan Vail is also listed as SR. So either he has another season of eligibility, which would be very nice, or it's a mistake.

With or without Vail, they've got another chance at the championship. Colby Lowe ran very well all season except for NCAA. They've still got Chirchir and Kosgei. Prentice has tons of potential and is due for a breakthrough. Having someone like Fernandez should elevate everyone's game. Looks very, very promising.

Probably 12th or 15th is more like it. Wait till you see Dave Smith's infamous run at the back in a group strategy in operation again. They are toast.

Well, they were third the year before last. They had a bad day, and most likely learned some lessons.
