Miami Athlete is most definitely NOT actually a Miami athlete. If I had to guess, male coach in the MAC of Ohio high school coach that think he could beat Nationals everty year in cross country whiole simultanously thinking that Ceronie was a good coach (Good ole' boys network card still in good standing).
this is not a female xc miami athlete. furthermore....perhaps past coach did not provide summer workouts for 2009 xc as she was deferring to the incoming coach, if indeed she (rita) did not provide a summer program. professional courtesy, just a thought.

They were average in an average conference except for last fall when they dominated the conference. Ran out of gas at Regionals. Return the entire team. Should make a run at 1st team berth to Nationals in school history.

Name one male MAC coach that would actually give two shits about Rita? Better yet, name one male MAC coach that Rita can even hold their jock sweat? Knowing the MAC, I would say all the males in that league who are coaching females have been far more successful than Pita.
i am sure there were a few, if maybe one that i know of, that did not care for rita, and simply because said athlete could not accept the truth, not good enough for varsity....cannot expect everyone to like you...espically if you do not have talent or abilty to run at d1 level.

It's time to move on. Rita has many fans and many opponents just like any other coach and you can't argue that they did, in fact, win a conference championship. Kelly Phillips has the opportunity to continue on with a team that has shown a lot of success. Ceronie did his part in helping to recruit that team. I can't argue who the best coach is, who is qualified to hold who's jockstrap, and why it is so popular to continue to post opinions on such matters.
