Guess that's good news then. If the iaaf statement is true, the swedish newspaper needs to be held accountable and its sources grilled, because it seems they've thrown daniel bailey's name out there as a cheater when he may be innocent. However, surely they must have some lead because they are libelling Bailey as a drug cheat by printing this, putting themselves out there for a juicy law suit if it's complete garbage.

Obviously it's possible but it is very very very very unlikely that an athlete from one of the small Caribbean island nations will cheat. The costs are just too high. In nations of just 2.7 million people (Jamaica)or 75,000 people (Antigua)if athletes (who are literally national heroes) are caught doping they, their families and anybody closely associated with them would have to lead their lives as recluses. The ananimity of a larger country (like the USA) just does not exist. Hence US athletes might take the risk. Daniel Bailey should definitely sue. It is really because of the extreme pride in athletics that the Jamaican doping authorities over-reacted and mishandled the current case of the four/five athletes whose A samples showed positive results for a minor stimulant found in over the counter cough medicines and not specified on the list of banned substances.
