Brad should claim 100% of the coaching credit for Ritz.
He has handled the switch of Ritz to Salazar with class.
I have no clue what Brad made from the hours of coaching Ritz, but based on the fact he is still fitting shoes at Eugene Running Company, I don't think it was much. In order for our elite athletes to succeed they need expert advise and coaching. I think a lot of agents seem to be well paid and the coaches are left with next to nothing. It's interesting when Wariner signed with Michael J. he (Wariner) felt that coach Clyde Hart should maybe be cut loose. We all know the results from that. The lions share of the development of many athletes is being done by under paid coaches. Perhaps it is time to examine how our overall development could be greatly improved if the coaches can be at least somewhat compensated for their efforts. No doubt John Bicourt in London does not run his camps in Kenya for free!
