What spot will it rank on SportCenter's Top 10 Plays?

Whatever spot, it'll just serve as a setup to the ol' field being more boring than track joke. They get us every time.
If a guy lays out to grab a baseball, it will be no higher than #2.
It should be number one. More people have caught a baseball than have run 9.58 for 100m.

Brilliant.

Actually far from it. That's the exact same thing as saying, more people have run 100 meters than have made the greatest catch in history.
Not saying any catch that could be made will top a 9.58, just saying that's as far from brilliant as possible, as it's the kind of incredbly twisted, and ignorant type of statement that people use to distort things, or when they don't understand what they are talking about.
Catching a ball is not the same as making the greatest catch, and running a 100 meters is not the same as running a WR.
I can't believe you planned and executed your entire post without realizing that the guy who said "brilliant" was being sarcastic.

Actually I wasn't being sarcastic.

I can't believe you were so dumb as to not realize he was being serious. And even if he wasn't being serious, Mrr82's point still stands to the person who originally posted it.

Not the same thing at all. . . Ask 100 people what the 'greatest catch in history' is and you may get 100 different answers. There ISN'T a greatest catch in history! There are many which are considered to be among the greatest. People just don't get it that the reason track will never be popular with the masses here is that you can't argue about it! Was Mays' catch better than Gionfriddo's? Was Swoboda's catch better than Agee's? Arguable. Was Carl Lewis's 9.93 better than Bolt's 9.59? Inarguable.

If you can't argue about track then how do you explain the existence of the LR forums?
And what do you think Wariner could run for 800m anyway?
Brilliant

With or without Clyde Hart...

Sorry, I meant argue intelligently.
If Wariner can run 43, 50 would be just a jog for him, right? Add another jogged 50 and he'd run 1:40. A good kick and it'd be 1:38 plus. Discuss. Pix please?
