The reason i ask, is I am now in the specific period.
have any of you run the "marathon specific pace" workout
where renato suggest:
a.m.--10k (85% of marathon pace) + then a 10k-15k (100-103% mp pace)
followed by this exact same workout in the P.M.
obviously this is the Long Distance workout for the week.
I am planning on doing this wkout Feb. 1st-,
then a Specific Long--35k at 98-100% 10 days later- on the 11th, folowed by this wkout again in 10 days--Febr. 21st...
in building to March 7th LA marathon...
Any thoughts on this? too much?
