I did a treadmill run at the health club, with a lot of good looking women close by. Because of this, I slowed the pace slightly, as most don't notice .2 to .3 mile/hour. But that extra energy saved, allowed me to crank a super fast last mile.
Afterwards, the hot fitness instructor said she wished she could run like me....and another lady (triathlete) showered me with compliments (you're such a great runner, you have such great form, etc..) and talked to me for 15 minutes. We'll be seeing each other again.
The funny thing is that I've been in better shape and most of you could probably perform what I did with greater ease. But so what? I got the lady while everyone else was suffering in their cold weather runs. That counts for something.
