It might just be a needed antidote to the somewhat elusive complacency of dreams, a subject - dream - often scrutinized on this board. Ironic, considering the dream metaphor is paved with hard-work, one-day-at-a-time, baby steps, and what-not nuts and bolts of pragmatic, single-minded endeavour.How about getting back in touch with the possible complexity of change? Is not an easy contradiction to manage. Difficult but not impossible.

Has anyone considered the most significant change to Vessey's performance could be coaching, being injury free and an opportunity for consistant training? Greg Brock is probably the best coach that no one has heard about. He has influenced more multiple athletes and coaches than anyone is aware of. For example, He coached John Rembao in high school, who has 24 years of division 1 coaching and coached Armando Siqueiros (Jordan Hasay high school coach)when he was in college. If you look at Vessey's background, she had inconsistant training, prone to injury and is only now fully understanding how to run an 800 meter race.

How about, Letsrun: Most of us can't spell.
It goes to jealousy. The haters can't run as fast as Rupp OR Vessey, so they trash on them.
My guess on the haters is they are mostly 4:30-4:50 milers. Among the collegiate haters, I'd say most of the trashing is done by lower level small college guys.
