Article claims 5 unnamed Jamaican sprinters, already selected for this years world championships, have failed drugs tests.
If this is confirmed it could really ruin track and field. Especially if one of the 5 is Bolt.
Even if it isn't everyone will automatically suspect Bolt.

I think a lot of people have been expecting this for some time.
In the least it will cancel out those ideas that little ole Jamaica is too small for people not to get drugs, or that others would know if they were using them.
And yeah, it will bring suspicion on Bolt, how can it not.
And either way, it won't kill track. Hurt it some, but it won't kill it, it is a major Olympic sport...already pretty much dead in the USA.

However, three of the athletes - two male and the female - are members of Jamaica's sprint (4x100m) relay pools, having finished in the top six of the 100 metres. The other two male athletes were selected to Jamaica's team, having finished in the top six of the 400m metres and are members of the 4x400m relay pool.
I guess it's not too hard then to work out who to narrow it down to, we're looking at between 3rd and 6th in men's 100m and 400m from the national champs. What will be REALLY interesting is to see what training camp these athletes come from, I fear for our sport if they're glen mills, or even the MVP club.

a poster on trackandfieldnews.com, says of the 6 in the 4 x 100 relay pool for berlin, and because the article says its not a premier sprinter meaning bolt or powell, 2 train with bolt, 1 trains with powell and 1 trains with tyson gay.
so at least 1 major sprint star will have had a teammate who is a cheat, and even if they are innocent people will think the star just did not get caught.

Why does it have to be a cheating drug? The world will laugh when it turns out to be marijuana.
I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to not test the race favorites, but the other people in the finals during the championships. Hence the statement of how none of the top names were the dirty ones.

You f***wits this proves that they are testing their athletes. They also caught Dunkley last year before Beijing so where's the coverup?
Depending on what drug it is, it proves that doping is pretty rampant on the little clean island.

You are being manipulated if you think this proves anything. Just like in the NFL, claiming a super-awesome testing regimen, then catching a few people low(er) on the totem pole to save face, is the oldest game in the book. That way they can say "see??? we told you we tested everyone thoroughly!" without actually losing big name athletes.

Now, even if Bolt is not on the list he is still a doper to me always been i knew that from the begining.

Wasn't it about 2 weeks after the news broke that we finally found out that Ramzi had tested positive???
Do you think it will take that long for us to see if Bolt and his mates are drugged up?
Bolt will be as guilty as Lance Armstrong!
