damn!
damn!
another boring paced raced. What a race it could have been if there were no rabbits. When will IAAF wake up.
How did rabbits affect that race? What race were you watching? Bekele was hammering from the gun, with or without rabbits. If anything, Bekele would have been the rabbit for Lagat, but Lagat could not even hang.
If Lagat had decided to go with KB during the middle of the race, he would probably have been much closer to him. KB just maintained about the same gap for the last 3 laps or so.
W/out rabbits it woulda been the same result except won in like 7:55
another nightmare for Cragg. Great running chris Sol

The only problem is that this was a PB for Lagat. Excellent for him. Its not a matter of him being able to hang, he is just plainly outclassed by Bekele!

Shut up ventolin. We know thats you. And I seem to remember bekele giving to lagat in the beijing 5000m race without rabbits but ohh I forgot lagat was injured and blah blah blah. With or without rabbits bekele will own lagat in races 3k and up.
How did you know...........ha ha

Yeah if only the race had been 10 minutes........ than maybe Lagat would have won it.
Full results?

easy. any race that has something to do with bernard lagat and bekele, you're the number one suspect. how does it feel being the new 430 miler?
Sometimes in track you want to see who can run faster over a certain distance.
This can normally only be achieved with rabbits.
Pure racing is more fun to watch but it is a different game.
The rabbits pulled Bekele clear - it was a big advantage. If Bekele had had to do all that work to get the gap on his own it'd have been a lot more difficult.
I think it'd have been the same result but probably closer without rabbits.
It makes my balls tingle..........wanna meet up again next week for some cuddles? x

Did you watch the race? He doubled his lead over the last 3 laps.
lagat ran 7:32.43 indoors in 2007 and previously ran 7:34.41 outdoors. This seems to be an outdoor pr, but he likely could have gone faster either when he was a 3:26 guy or when he won that 12:59 kicker's 5k against bekele or el g or whoever it was.

err... don't talk out of your ass - you know when i post
i didn't look up timetable & after seeing sanya's 49.3, just 0.1s outside her sb, the eurosport commentators blurb about "conditions being poor" were nonsense ( at that point in the meet ) - these guys are in a studio in england watching broadcast - they have as much clue about conditions as anyone watching on tv, i went out for a joint & 12-pack, expecting to come back to catch the last 2km of a 14'30 women's 5k
i came back to see kennster going thru in 4'58 & bernie 20m behind in ~ 5'01, with et al 10m further back
my instant reaction was that there had been a fall behind kennster with bernie & al & they were trying to catch up with kennster who'd stolen a march on them thru the fall, with bernie pushing too hard to catch up having got 10m lead on al
remember, conditions weren't that bad then & kennster went thru in 4'58, not 4'53 ( albeit i'll change my opinion immensely if i'm told the 4'58 splits were 2'33/2'25 )
as i don't believe this was the case, i expect at the autopsy to hear bernie say he was "flat" & "coudn't get out of 3rd gear thruout"
don't cream yourself, kennster ran 7'28 off 4'58 in reasonable conditions
it's not the 8th wonder...
I love when you talk dirty big boy......kisses
