Adidas shoes in 4E sizes

Aight how r u suppose to know if u need a wider shoe.. I'm wearing a 2e and im trying to figure out if that is wide enough... O im blonde.

Get your foot measured. You know those things that measure your shoe size? They also measure your foot width. Just make sure you have someone competent doing it, often times people read the numbers wrong on the width meter.

I have struggled for you years trying to get shoes that fit well. I have a 4E foot, so the New Balance have been my best shot. I have never found a racing flat or spike that fit me. I would be amazed if I didn't have to wear heavy shoes in races...or in training.

I hope that more wide, light shoes become available. Also, the Nike shoes you mention are too shallow in the instep; not enough instep heigth. That is why they feel small.

I would be willing to pay more for racing shoes that are wide and have a deep instep if they were available. Suffering in shoes that don't fit or work makes running painful for some of us.

Not only have I found that Adidas shoes are built for a narrower foot, but overall the quality has really deteriorated. My husband wears a 13EEEE and breaks down the midsole easily, recently he has had good luck in comfort and fit with both the Asics Kayano and New Balance 991. In the past, some NBs have been duds, although I don't remember the models. Tried obtaining a Nike in EEEE recently, but was not yet available, will try a bit later.
