Can anyone comment on the difference between these two Nike spikes? Also, what ever happened to the Ventulus? Trying to get a good track spike for 800m - 3200m. I already have the Kennedy XC and like them a lot.

Ventulus is still available in odd sizes - stock up!!! $40 a whack ain't too bad. They also had kenmedys for $30.
bump
The miler has a plate for md, gets you on toes a little, leather toe box for good snug fit. The plate has 6 changable pins. The eldoret is a little like old eldoret plate, good cushioning and 3 permanent pins. The steeple shoe lanang, has the same plate as the miler. The miler plate is probably ok for 5k and below. All three shoes have ample heel cushion.
KENNEDY is the spike to buy every single time you grow out of the shoe. take about an hour and observe the genius build of the shoe, you'll fall in love again.
think about how fast you can go in them, and the fact that the only difference is less than a centimeter between the track and your feet.
you love it!
You may also want to consider the black Jasari's now available for $50 on Eastbay.h
The Kennedy is great but the fact that you have almost a whole centimeter between the track and your feet is its biggest downfall. With the Ventulus your foot is about 2 or 3 mm off the track. The Vents have their drawbacks too. I definitely prefer permanent spikes for pure track (not XC) spikes though because of the lower clearance.
I'd say try to get one of these two shoes at discount, they'd be good for high school track events. The Ventulus is more for longer distances though, they're profile is pretty flat from heel to forefoot.

kennedys 3000 and up. however it coud be used for plenty. i agree the vents are good, i dunno i guess i've just grown to love my kennedys...
meant to say "their profile",
and I second the Jasari Plus (black ones) too as a possibility. Not too many people have the plus, which kinda makes it seem cooler.
I've always been a Kennedy man, and I said i wouldn't wear anything else...but I did just buy the Milers, since im focusing more on the mile this year in Track...they better be sweet
