Pretty big deal. Equivalent to Radcliff's 2:15 marathon a few years ago, in my opinion.
Well, it looks like the 2nd place woman broke the old record for whatever this thing is six minutes, so maybe it's not such a big deal after all
Pretty big deal. Women are closing in on men in iron distance races ... Similar to if several women broke through and ran 2:13+ marathons or 28:50 10K on the track.
Some of these triathlons are really fast..
Triathlon courses are not certified.
For what it's worth, there a couple of threads on slowtwitch.com about the course being short. The 2009 thread has a link to another from last year saying much the same thing...
