We've been dating on and off for about six years. Much more on, than off, and have been solid for over a year now after working out most of our previsions "kinks." However, she still finds a need to have access to my email. I have absolutely nothing to hide, but I still hate the fact that she finds a need to check my email whether we are good or bad.
As I said, I have nothing to hide, but I still hate the fact that she can't trust me without the hard proof of seeing the email.
We just got into a fight because I changed my email password three days ago and she just found out, and flipped out. Personally, I think she's a little too possessive and this may very well be the last straw, and while this forum may not be the best place to ask for advice, I wanted to know if others in a relationship give their wife/girlfriend access to their email?
Am I the one at fault here because I have a problem with her going through my personal email, or is she the one who's wrong?
