What could an 800m runner who can ran a low 24 200m run over 800m potentionally with optimal endurance?

1:53 probably maybe a bit faster
If speed endurance good a 51-400m and a 1.50-800m
Add two seconds to the 200 and double. That's your best quarter, 52 secs. Add 5 seconds to your quarter and double. That's your best half, 1:54. 4:08 for the mile if you're interested.
I'm giving you more average than what is the best possible.
I was a 5k/10k guy in college with bests of under 13.50 and 28.40 (great at the time - an also ran now).
I jumped in a 4 x 8 once and split 1.52 - and the fastest I ever did a 200 in training was 24.5. I did run a 51.2 in training once as well!
Take from that what you will.
In all my years of hammering workouts, I only dipped under 25s one -- a 24.7 at the end of a workout, with a flying start. I split 50.5 in a 4x400m relay indoors, and ran 1:51 flat in the 800 (which I didn't race much). More of a 1500/5000 guy.

In no way is this right. I can personally vouch for at least two guys with 24 200 speed and better than 52 400 times.
This is two distances removed from your target race. For a speed-based 800m runner, it's important that you can run a fast 200m. For a true middle distance runner, your 3K is more relevant.
Are you a 400/800 runner or an 800/1500 runner? I am the former, I can run 22-high in an open 200m, but my best 400m is 49.64 and my best 800m is 1:53. I doubt I could run under 4:05 in the 1500m. I am sure that many will say I should be running much faster for 800 based on my 200 speed, but I rely on my speed and I get injured easily when I try to increase the mileage.
If you're a 400/800 type runner and 24-low is as fast as you can go for 200m, you're probably looking at 1:56 at best. If you're really an 800/1500 type, and you can run under 9:00 for 3K, then you can probably run 1:52-1:53 if you train your speed.

Ahhh, the "convenient" relay split. How about you run an OPEN 800...then get back to us.
PS. All your best times seem be "in training".....hmmm.
how shocking that a 5k/10k guy didn't race the 200 or 400 open.

Not even an all-comers meet?
clocked 24 high and I can break 50.
my 800 is under 1:50.
24 is fast, if you have the distance background. It somewhat limits you though in terms of kick- finishing a moderately hard pace in 26/55 is about the best you can hope for, and in today's environment you're not gonna get much with it.
