What is your favorite Mel Brooks scene?
What is your favorite Mel Brooks scene?
when is moses coming down from the mountain and is holding the 2 tablets, with 20 commandments and drops one, then claims he has the '10' commandments that god gave him....funny.
That youtube one from "High Anxiety" is a good one...I may have to see that movie again, it's been awhile.
Well, favorite scenes...as far as favorite lines go, "we gotta save our phony baloney jobs" from "Blazing Saddles" is tough to beat. And the whole Mongo thing, PC as it isn't, is terrific. Probably the high point of Alex Karras' career, barely beating out his "Monday Night Football" comment that Otis Sistrunk went to "the University of Mars."
It's 3 tablets (five commandments each). "The Lord has given me these 15,... 10 commandments."
The Mayor
Put the candle back
When he had a Frankenstein monster tap dance and sing "Puttin' on the Ritz."
"Is it twoo what they zay about yoor peeple?"
ZZZIIIIIP
"ITS TWOO ITS TWOO"
And I would have to go with the entire "Young Frankenstein" movie.
The Mayor
That is one of the best.
I also liked, it's good to be the king.
What knockers!
Oh, sank you Doctor.
Biggus Dickus
Abby Normal
Springtime for Hitler
Biggus Dickus was from Monty Python's Life of Brian, which so far as I know did not involve Mel Brooks. Very funny scene (and movie) though.
"Excuse me while I whip this out..."
The Inquisition - The Musical from History of the World Part 1
Biggus Dickus is Monty Python not Mel Brooks.
Dom De Luise was pretty hilarious. Better than the Inquisition
Horses? We can't afford to lose any horses.
"Somebody go back and get a whole shitpot full a dimes"
"The bitch was inventin' the candygram."
"What's yo' pleasure? What you like to do?"
"Oh...play chess...screw..."
"Well let's play chess."
