Decent chance, with Gebremariam and Soi both 12:52 guys and Kogo a 26:35 guy (although it has been a few years since any of those performances), and Lagat also with a sub-13 to his name. Weather looks decent at the moment, although we're too far out for that to be very accurate yet. Anybody know what kind of a rabbit setup there will be?
I know there will be rabbits, though I don't know what their arrangement is. Sometimes efforts to run this fast for long distance races can come undone, but Tariku Bekele ran 13:04 out there at Icahn Stadium on a pretty hot day without anything like the level of competition there will be this time. I think sub-13:00 is quite possible.
No. Way.
No way they pay a bunnie to run slower than All-comers record pace in any event.
Not in 2009
Is Lagat running it? Trying to get the AR before Rupp takes a crack at it?
Be great to see.

Rupp's not going to take a shot at sub-13 any time soon, if ever.
I would expect Rupp to run sub 27 for 10k before he runs sub 13 for 5k, and I highly doubt he'll come close to breaking 27.
