Yes Nick Rose did that on an unratified course.
Nick Rose time of 27.34 is officially the european 10k record as shown on the iaaf website so it must of been ratified.
The 1984 Crescent City Classic was run on certified point to point course.
Nick Rose was third to Mark Nenow (27:22) and Micheal Musyoki (27:29) on that day.
Anyone have the results of that Ukiah race. I seem to remember unbleiveable dept in that race.
