Why ? It means both countries will have two sources for plutonium soon after Iran finishes maunufacturing plutonium and can fuel it's warheads whose designs have verified by Iran's near critical simulation technology. I.E. Iran does not need to explode a real bomb to claim to have a working bomb. Thus, if either country is attacked an alternate source of plutonium is available.

Every president inherits a host of problems domestic and foreign, only this president whines and gripes about it. Kind of odd considering this was the guy who was supposed to solved the toughest problems with only the aid of his trusty teleprompter. Now that he's in charge all he can do is wring his hands and complain "the last guy did this!" Imagine if George W. Bush spent the days after 9/11 (or any time) blaming the Clinton administration for doing absolutely nothing to thwart Bin Laden. He could have done so and been quite correct, but it doesn't solve the problem.
I think Obama would have behaved differently had he any experience whatsoever as an executive. Having never had any position of even light responsibility, one shouldn't be surprised at his numerous missteps. Hopefully he's a quick learner.

Exactly. It would not be terribly difficult to snuff out their still small nuclear program if we really wanted to. But that would take more collective balls than the US or UN currently have. Everybody would rather just sit around and sing coumbaya and hope the f***ers never decide to use their new weapons.
This has nothing to do with balls and everything to do with the fact that we haven't been provoked. NK won't do jack with its nukes because every country it could possibly use them against either has far greater firepower, allies with far greater firepower, or BOTH. NK just wants to be one of the cool kids on the block, and its "dear leader" has to keep showing his people how great he is. Iran is a little different, but I don't think Iran would even consider launching nukes until they are reasonably certain it won't trigger a massive retaliation from more powerful countries. Remember: crazy dictators want to live and stay in power, and won't do anything as stupid as attacking a superpower or a country a superpower would want to protect.

Iran and NK have been directly assisted by scientists from Pakistan, Russia, India, and China. Black market nuclear techonology and materials have been supplied from the U.S., U.K., Japan, Germany, France, Israel, India, Russia, China. No matter what we do, Iran and North Korea has multiple redundant sources for highly enriched uranium, delivery systems, semiconductor fab, and simulation technology. The cats out of the bag. The whole world is going down the toilet !

we can either come to that reality now or pretend to be surprised later
