Doing some goal setting here. And in addition to setting my goal races/paces I want to get down to a weight that's going to set me up best.
Curious what a "serious recreational runner" (as in training hard to push myself, but not having delusions of being elite or winning races) who is 30 years old and 6'4" should theoretically weigh to not be holding himself back?
I come from a cycling background, so I don't have a lot of upper body mass, but do have pretty stout legs. At 170lbs I feel pretty thin, but I've never pushed it to get much below there.
Or should I not worry about the weight and just see where I level off to when running 50-70mpw?
