Any polite ways to handle my neighbor letting his dog crap in my yard

taking a dump on his doorstep or on the windshield of his car is an excellent idea. But, since wifey won't let you do that and it probably won't work out in the long run, you could probably report it or something and get the guy fined for not cleaning up after his dog. In the meantime, you could just take a shovel and fling the crap on his rooftop to make yourself feel better.

If the couple is really "very nice," they may not be aware of the problem. (The number of dog-owners who seem to think that their dog simply doesn't poop is really astounding.) Try to let them know, nicely, that their dog is fouling your lawn habitually.

Your best bet might be to take a picture of Fido doing his business in your yard, then share it with your neighbors. Otherwise--if experience is a guide--they may never believe that it's their sweet dog who's the culprit.

If they don't correct the problem, your next step is probably to call the Animal Control department of your local government. Even if there's not a leash law in your locale, your neighbors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog...

I know all about this. Flinging it on his rooftop is a classic. Totally will make you feel better but the best solution is pick it up in a plastic bag and leave it at the end of his driveway. He'll get the suttle message.

You could purposefully clean it up when the owner is outside so that he sees what his dog has been doing.

I would grab him and her by the ear ... drag them to the sauciest poop and rub his and her noses in it. Grab some and slap some on top of head for good measure.

kill the dog. screw the neighbors wife. make sure you video tape it. (details to follow.) then tell her husband, "thats for letting your dog shit on my lawn ass hole."

Then at the next town meeting show the video of you screwing his wife to the whole town.

I 100% guarantee that his next dog will not shit on your lawn.

If it does, repeat previous steps. you got nothngi to lose except a nice clean lawn.

Rub his face in it ... when he is struggling to breathe - jam a bunch of the densest poop down his throat - and keep jamming stuff down it - he will learn not to allow dog to do it

you could talk to him politely. no need for any passive-aggressive moves or big blow-ups. just say that hemight not have noticed, but his dog's been going in your yard, and you'd appreciate it if he'd keep an eye on the dog so it doesn't happen.

after one warning, just start flinging the poo onto his property.

take plenty of x-lax, hold the dog down realy tight, let one explode right on his face. in the middle of your explosive diareah, scream "how does that feel mother f ucker?!?"

Hopefully you neighbor is outside while this is happening. bring your camera and take a picture of his reaction. post the pics!!

As The Rock would put it if he was talking about dog poo: grab that poo, shine that poo up rrreeeaaallll nice, and proceed to shove it up your neighbor's candy a$$!!!!

either that or if you see his dog crap on your property, grab the poo and, like what monkeys do, throw it at your neighbor.

if you want to avoid getting the police called on you for either shoving up your neighbor's butt or throwing it at him and you want to be civil, simply give the guy or gal a friendly warning. if they continue to, do what you feel is right. best of luck to you!

I have 2 big dogs who take BIG dumps. They hardly ever take a dump in anyone's yard on our way to the park, they have a spot there ... if they haven't unloaded in our back yard already, but I always travel with a couple of poop bags with me. Earlier today I got a chuckle at a restaurant when 2 poop bags fell on the floor when I pulled out my wallet.

Does he have lawn on which you could shovel it? Return it to his property.

Do not clean up the poop.

The next time their dog poops on your lawn, go and get them and show them the poop.

Keep talking until they clean it up.

If they don't get the message, ask them how they're going to get the poop off your lawn.

The next time it happens, repeat the same sequence again.

This should take care of the problem. If not, then keep making the consequences more inconvenient to them.

Like someone else said, I'd just scoop it up with a shovel and deposit on their lawn, everytime it happens. If they see you do it, even better. Wait until they ask why, and then tell them nicely.
