Sprint Trainers like the Nike Silverfish???

Nike Mayfly...they too are godawful looking.

Try the Nike Jellyfish...sorta soft and squishy, but soothing on sore Achilles tendons.

The Nike Portugese Man Of War can make you as fierce and versatile as Carlos Lopes.

It's hide to keep up the pace with the Nike Flounder, though.

I agree it's ugly, I prefer Mizuno shoes and like their Wave Spacer when I don't want to wear spikes. They're light, don't have a clumpy heel and are really comfortable to do off speed sprint work in.

i have both the mayflys and the silverfish. i have the brown silverfish--pretty cool looking shoe. i've thought about runnin a 3k in 'em, but they're a little large. i'd say go for it tho. if it's only training, who cares what colors they are. go ahead and thrash 'em. i like the shoe.

Have you bought the spacers recently? If so, where? I have a pair I bought at Boston last year, but can't find em anywhere and really like the shoe.

I bought them in a local store, they're still listed on the Mizuno web-site so you should be able to find them some where. I'd better go look for a back-up pair if they're scarce.
