I had a total hip replacement in November of 2006. The type of replacement allows me to run without fear of damage to the device (according to five different physicians I've consulted). I run about 40 miles a week, with one tempo run,one track session, and one long run (8-10 miles). Before surgery I was able to run sub-22 minutes for 5K (I'm 65 years old); now I haven't been able to break 26 minutes. What can I do to help me to break 26?
