i am running my 2nd half in a few weeks. two weeks before my 1st 1/2, i ran a 5 mile road race pretty much all out and found it to be a good tune up.
this time around there is a big local 10k and i am contemplating entering that as my tune up race, but i am slightly nervous. I realize it is only 1.2 miles more than what i did before my first, but i feel like inching ever closer to halfway of my goal race distance might take a bit more out of me to the point that i won't be 100% recovered for the half 2 weeks later.
Any one with any input on this?... am i just being nervous about this for nothing?
